Misty Giovanni was born and raised on the Jersey Shore (June 4, 1989), and met Tyler Morris while on vacation with her girlfriends in Atlantic City in the summer of 2013. Giovanni and Morris hit it off immediately and have been inseparable ever since. Misty has a business degree from Rutgers University and manages Tyler’s career, both in and out of the ring. She will dress in revealing outfits and flaunt her sex appeal at ringside to gain an advantage for Morris, and will even get physically involved if needed, such as slapping an opponent or helping Tyler get a foot on the ropes.

Entrance Description

The lights in the arena flash between alternating colors of cyan, gold and red. Morris makes his appearance amidst smoke that pours in. He kneels on one knee, then quickly jumps up and heads to the ring, focused and determined on the battle at hand, ignoring all fans, as Misty Giovanni walks alongside him.

Morris's moveset would be a cross between CM Punk, Kurt Angle, and Diamond Dallas Page.

Tyler Morris was born in Chicago, Illinois. As a young child, he witnessed the accidental drowning of his father. Morris grew up in a broken home thereafter, frequently beaten by his drug addicted mother’s various boyfriends. At the age of 15, he left home, seeking shelter on the streets of the Windy City for three years before turning 18 and enlisting in the Marines.

Morris served a tour of duty in Afghanistan, and never came back the same, after witnessing his closest friend in the military’s murder at the hands of a local Afghan villager.

In August 2013, Morris began training to become a professional wrestling at a gym owned by former NYSWF wrestler Shawn Hunter in Chicago, and was offered a spot in the prestigious HK Wrestling Academy in Buffalo by Chris Kage during a visit to Hunter’s gym. Morris moved to Buffalo, and began training with Kage in December of 2013. Morris was specifically trained in the art of submission and technical wrestling. Morris has had anger issues in the past, and was previously taking medication for them, but is now treating his anger and PTSD with a variety of medication and therapy.

Morris made an immediate impact upon his arrival in the EWA in October 2015, going after ‘Iron Heart’ Barrett Lynch. In his first month in the promotion, he broke the arms of Max Pins and Lynch with his submission manuever known as ‘Mercy’. Morris moved on to challenge the legendary Thorne Richards, who returned to the ring after fourteen years and defeated Morris at Champions Summit I on December 30.

Morris would go on to join The Youth two weeks later, alongside his mentor Chris Kage, Alexander Haven, and Martin Robertson. On March 15, 2016, Morris and the Youth attacked Genichiro Honma, who was scheduled to compete against Chip Masters for the EWA Tapout Championship that night. Morris successfully won the championship against Masters, and retained it at Asylum de los Muertos against Honma on March 30, injuring Honma and putting him out of the EWA.

Ironically, Morris himself was injured on April 15 at the hands of X-Calibur, during an impromptu match for the Tapout Championship. Morris suffered a broken forearm during the loss, and was “unofficially” out of action for three months, although it’s widely speculated that Morris was under the mask of Jose Ramirez of the Latino Powers, having a short three week run with the EWA Tag Team Championship. Morris returned to action with Martin Robertson against the Vice Squad – ironically the team that the Latino Powers lost the championship to – on July 12, 2016.

Morris would go on to battle alongside the Youth – after a brief dispute with Alexander Haven – in the Final Solution at EWA Out For Blood in September 2016, coming out on top against HATE after a vicious assault months earlier by the faction left Haven and Robertson in the hospital.

Morris would shockingly be betrayed at Champions Summit II by Youth brethren Alexander Haven and Martin Robertson, as they turned on Morris and Chris Kage, apparently driving Kage out of the EWA altogether and leaving Morris to fight against the two.

Misty Giovanni is Tyler’s manager and significant other – they met in August 2013 while vacationing in Atlantic City. She will dress provocatively and use her sexuality as a distraction if the opportunity is there, or if she feels it’s necessary, and occasionally will get physically involved. Morris and Giovanni are inseparable.

Morris entered the EWA with a shaved head, but has since grown out long, stringy black hair with a full beard. He wears a black vest with the Japanese symbol for “strength” on the back, in blue. He wears long blue tights with “MORRIS” spelled out vertically on each leg, and “TM” written on the rear in a stylized font.
