The lights cut out in the arena, leaving it black for a moment, before a burst of pyro at the entrance ramp signifies the beginning of ‘Mayhem’. The lights blaze a brilliant white before returning to normal as the guitars kick in. At the opening of the first verse, Remington appears at the top of the ramp at that point, Remington slowly nods to himself, stretching out on the ramp, and at the moment that Lizzy Hale’s screaming vocals mark the start of the chorus, he takes off in a sprint, sliding underneath the ropes and racing to the top corner, stretching his arms out in a pose.
- The Natural Disaster [Disaster Kick - Remington races to the ropes, springboarding off the middle rope and landing a devastating spinning kick to his opponent's head]

Rick Remington was born in Daytona Beach. Growing up on the east coast of Florida, he’d been an athletic marvel at everything he’d done, excelling as a highly regarded school football player. He’d set a high school record for receiving touchdowns in one season, which had been enough to gain him a full athletic scholarship at the University of Florida. He’d taken an incredible amount of satisfaction in being a Gator…to the point where he’d focused more on partying and banging sorority chicks than football, eventually being thrown off the team for his poor grades. Faced with a crossroads, he’d done what any naturally gifted athletic marvel would do…drop out of school altogether.
A few months later, he’d heard about a World Heavyweight Champion running a professional wrestling training school in Florida. Skeptical but intrigued, he’d made the journey…and found the rumors to be true. He’d enrolled, and adapted to the business of professional wrestling with remarkable speed. He heard the same whispers that followed him everywhere – you’re a natural, kid, you’re an incredible talent, kid, you’re gonna go far, kid. He’d been destined for the big time…
And then it happened.
The school he had joined had been ran by the leader of the Fallout, Grace Goeren. He’d quickly penetrated her inner circle, and before long, was penetrating even more…although, unknown to him, Grace had already grown tired of Remington’s eagerness and confidence at this point. The final straw was when Remington reached out to then-EWA Executive Assistant, Stacy Vandervort, securing himself a tryout at an upcoming Battlelines. Furious that one of her students would go behind her back, Grace dispatched her “Right Hand”, Sahara, to sexually humiliate him before violently and savagely snapping the tibia and fibia in his lower right leg.
Remington nearly had to have his leg amputated as a result, but through hard work, perseverance, and a lot of pain – and the help of disgraced Fallout manager and EWA creator Duane Gates – Remington made a complete recovery. However, Gates would manipulate Remington into attacking Sahara under the guise of Remington being under contract – a move that nearly cost Remington his career in the EWA. Now, his future is unknown heading into a tryout match at Battlelines 35.
