Entrance Description

You are a brick tied to me that’s dragging me down
Strike a match and I’ll burn you to the ground
We are the jack-o-lanterns in July setting fire to the sky
Here, here comes this rising tide, so come on

(Fall Out Boy’s “Phoenix” starts to pump through the arena, and Mojave steps out from the back. He holds himself with a confident determination as he strides towards the rings, gaining enthusiasm as he approaches.

He jumps from the floor to the apron, stepping through the ropes as his theme dies down and waits patiently for his opponent.)

A rookie to the professional wrestling scene, Maurice MacKay, amiably “Moe” comes from a big wrestling family and was recruited by the EWA Executive Assistant, Stacy Vandervort herself, due to his ties to current roster members and his minor success in the independent scene. He hopes to be this year’s rising star, outshining the likes of Martin Robinson and Grace Goeren and perhaps along the way, win some gold for himself to bring home and impress his folks. Mojave is a high-flying, technical wrestler who learns quickly and doesn’t know when to simply stay down. He’s been taught by the best and aims to prove himself in the ring of the EWA.

Mojave was outed in a viral video by his older sister Sahara and his fiancee Ethan Zinna was gaybashed outside of their shared Boston apartment. Moe blamed his sister for this and vowed to not only find justice for his partner, but also see to it that his sister is held accountable for her actions.  Unfortunately, he wasn’t overly successful.  He was injured in Natalie Burrows’ debut match in January and that kept him out of the ring for longer than he wanted.  Somewhere along the way, he found himself teaming with Josh Kaine, son of the legendary Sinnocence, and they formed the tag team of MOJO.  They won the tag titles and shortly after Josh was assaulted in the bathroom of Valhalla, he and Nikki Caldwell agreed on forming a polyamorous triad.

They live at 1 Potter Park, home of Josh’s mother, Jada Kaine and she trains them on and off to keep their skills up to snuff.
