Entrance Description

Hailing from Chicago, IL, weighing in at 231lbs, the self-proclaimed master of deception…the purveyor of perception, Marcus Mirrrrageeeeeeeeee!

As his music starts, blue strobe lights will pulse across the arena as Mirage emerges onto the rampway. He will stand at the center of the ramp just before the point it begins sloping down toward the ring and stop. He will look down and hold his arms out slightly, clenching his fists. After the lyrics, “Forsaken by destiny”, he will slowly lift his head and begin walking toward the ring.

Mirage will commonly wear Chicago White Sox or Chicago Blackhawks jerseys. He rounds out his attire with common wrestling boots that blend into kneepads into padded tights or jean shorts. His legs will be completely covered whether wearing jean shorts or tights. He will tape his hands/forearms similarly to C.M. Punk (his silent tribute as both are from Chicago), and otherwise wears nothing under his jersey of choice.

During in-ring interviews or promos, Mirage will almost always climb the ropes and deliver the segment while sitting on the top turnbuckle. He will choose whichever corner is closest to the announcers table so he can read their reactions and/or address them directly.

Finishing Moves
Favorite Moves
Mirage will alter his wrestling style depending on the situation he finds himself in. For example, against larger/stronger opponents, he will use a blend of momentum based high flying moves in order to generate the impact necessary. Against smaller/faster opponents, he will attempt to slow the match down, exiting the ring for no reason, finding reasons to delay, etc.
  • Flying Clothesline
  • Short-arm Clothesline
  • Spinning Spinebuster
  • Double Arm DDT
  • Snapmare
  • Dropkick
  • Baseball Slide Dropkick through the bottom ropes
  • Forward Suplex
  • German Suplex/Release German Suplex
  • Northern Lights Suplex
  • Various armbars/submissions that never result in submissions and are used to slow down the action when necessary

Mirage has a well documented history of playing mind games with both allies and enemies. Over time, he became known as the king of swerves, or the deceiver, and while this character trait played a much larger part in the early part of his career, his reputation of unpredictability remains strong.

Mirage has been a part of some of the biggest factions in the SHOOT Project circle throughout his career, from Instant Heat to The Hierarchy to the AOD. While often overlooked as a major player, behind the scenes Mirage has gained a reputation of playing a major role in scheming to advance his (or his faction’s) cause.

  • SHOOT Project World Heavyweight Champion
  • SHOOT Project Sin-City Champion
  • Multi-time World Heavyweight Tag-Team Champions (with Cronos Diamante)
  • AODWF World Heavyweight Champion

Aside from that, Mirage has held various titles with other organizations, however, none are considered prestigious enough to list.
