Entrance Music
Entrance Description

As the beginning of “Dogs of War” from Pink Floyd begins, it has a very imperial death march sound to it. During the beginning 45 second instrumental, dull spotlights can be seen coming from the entrance curtain to a spot on the middle of the entrance stage. As the spotlights fade in and out one after another, Grady (wearing a cowboy hat and long leather trench coat) walks slowly through the spotlights. As the music crescendos and we hear the opening lines of the song (“Dogs of War… and Men of hate. With no cause, we don’t discriminate…”), all of the spotlights converge on a single spot shining down on Grady, with him looking straight ahead in a stoic stance. After the first two lines, he’ll begin to bounce around a bit, loosening up a bit before continuing his march towards the ring. As the music continues to play, he’ll climb the ring staircase and set his hat on the ring post before climbing into the ring. There he’ll march to the center of the ring again and look down for a few seconds before starting to limber up again (swinging his arms, shaking out his legs, etc…) and just as the music hits a second crescendo, he’ll drop the jacket behind him and start to acknowledge the crowd, who at this point should be going ballistic.

Finishing Moves
  • Chokebuster [Inverted DVD (aka Burning Hammer; Grady places his opponent on his back in a torture rack, then drives his opponent down to the mat head/shoulders first)]

Signature Moves
  • Just Another Mark [Tiger Driver - Double underhook piledriver]

Profile

Grady was a high school and collegiate standout in wrestling before getting into the professional wrestling business with his high school best friends Ray Henson, Tyler Robertson and Grady’s cousins, Calvin and Louis Walker (aka Public Enemy). While Robertson and Henson got out of the business early on, Grady and Public Enemy went on to win multiple singles and tag team titles everywhere they went. Once Public Enemy retired in 2002, Grady continued on for another year, before retiring in 2003. He came back and worked a few matches and tournaments here and there after his retirement, but he hasn’t seen a professional wrestling ring since probably 2006.

Since his retirement, Grady has gone on to a successful business career training high school and collegiate athletes to help them prepare for whatever the next level of competition may await for them. Grady has also published an award winning book, called “‘You’re Dead Wrong!’ and 50 other phrases you can yell at your boss only in professional wrestling”.

Oh, and he’s procreated a few times…
