Entrance Description

As the ripping guitar riff of “Fuck Everything” by Suicide Silence kicks in, Ethan Leers emerges from the back wearing black cargo shorts, black wrestling boots, a black jersey that says “FUCK YOU” in big white letters, and a black hat that says “CUNT” in big white letters. He looks at the crowd, utter disgust on his face, and he spits at the ground. As the crowd boos at his disgust at them, he walks to the ring, cracking his knuckles and neck.

As Ethan reaches the ring, he jogs up the steps very quickly and turns around. He again looks at the crowd with his look of disgust and flips off the entire crowd, laughing at their boos. He quickly turns around and steps in between the top and middle rope. He takes off his jersey and hat, throws them to the outside of the ring, but definitely avoids throwing them far enough for fans to get. He stretches in the corner, a shit-eating grin on his face, loving every moment of the boos and jeers.

There is no good reason why Ethan Leers is an absolute scumbag. He came from a relatively wealthy, loving family of hippies turned organic business people. His parents both worked very hard, but they made sure to spend plenty of time in Ethan’s life. He wanted for nothing growing up. He got plenty of attention, plenty of love, and had more opportunities than most people in the world.

This did not stop him from being a total shit bag. As a child, he started drinking at the age of 10. Drugs at 11. His parents tried rehab programs, scared straight programs, and private schools, but none of it worked. Despite all odds, though, Ethan Leers (though not his name a the time) did complete college up to his Master’s degree in Psychology. During his college years, Ethan became obsessed with alternative lifestyles, specifically gutter punks. Having wealth and an education, the gutter punks quickly started seeing Leers as a leader like figure. Ethan was…not kind to them. He forced them to fight for money, had the kinkiest, nastiest sex with any of them, with several degrees of questionable consent, and made absolutely sure to keep them hooked on drugs. The more miserable they were, the more desperate they were for his attention and money.

While watching his ‘cult’ battle for his money, he one day decided that he didn’t want to just watch. He decided to join in the fights.

Destroying homeless people weakened by years of drug abuse and sickness was the greatest feeling Ethan had ever known. However, over time, beating up gutter trash became boring, so Ethan sought out the wrestling world. He began to pursue the extreme wrestling and deathmatch circuits, finding that getting hurt was just as exciting as hurting someone. This eventually brought Ethan Leers to LEGACY Pro Wrestling, owned by Rob Belote. He forced his ‘cult’ to beg for money to buy tickets to the events. Since LEGACY was a more family friendly wrestling company, Ethan took great pride in making himself the most untelevisable wrestler in LEGACY. He would eventually become the No Limits Champion, defeating future LEGACY World Heavyweight Champion Crazyboy. However, Ethan’s LEGACY career would be rather lackluster, and eventually, the sponsors of the company pressured Rob Belote to fire Ethan Leers. Ethan went from rising superstar to unemployed in an instant.

Which was even worse when his parents finally cut him off. Ethan had no money, no job, and quickly went from being the leader of the gutter punks to being a gutter punk himself. Homeless, jobless, and without much hope, Ethan went down a horrible path of alcohol and drug abuse. The gutter punks, realizing he wasn’t anything special, abandoned Ethan, and one of which even stabbed him on the way out. After this event, Ethan went off the grid and wasn’t heard from again.

That was until January of 2017. Ethan began to pop up in small deathmatch markets across the country, smashing light tubes, glass panes, and thumbtacks into anyone and everyone in small high school gyms and rented out fields.

Why Ethan has come back to the world of ultraviolent, hardcore wrestling is unknown, but now he has sought to bring his general ‘fuck you attitude’ to the EWA.
